Macetown
This late 19th century stone cottage was extended to the rear with a contemporary ‘L’ shaped extension. A new Kitchen / Dining / Living space and Bedrooms wing enclose a south facing courtyard. Finishes include a bespoke modern kitchen, new polished concrete floors, the old cottage exposed stone and brick walls, modern T&G wall panelling, cedar wood cladding and a standing seam metal roof. The refurbishment achieved an ‘A’ energy rating and availed of SEAI energy grants.
